Mouni Roy Speaks Out: Popular actress Mouni Roy, who is often targeted by online trolls, recently expressed her frustration over the constant negative comments. She is currently busy promoting her upcoming film The Bhootni. Known for her television role as a Naagin (serpent woman), Mouni has once again become the subject of trolling — this time for her appearance and onscreen characters.

“You Can’t Fool the Audience”

In a recent interview, Mouni said, “When you’re portraying a specific genre or a fictional character on screen, it’s essential to completely immerse yourself in the role. Unless you truly live the character, the audience won’t connect with you. You simply can’t fool viewers. I don’t take on any role until I can fully commit to it. I prefer to give my 100% to everything I do — and that’s why the audience sees the truth in my performance.”

“I Don’t Read the Comments”

Addressing the criticism, she continued, “As for people calling me names — it really doesn’t affect me. For me, my art and craft have always mattered more than public opinions. I don’t even read the comments where people write nasty things about me. They are doing their job, and I’m doing mine.”
