Tahira Kashyap Diagnosed with Breast Cancer Again After 7 Years, Shares Inspiring Message
Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife, Tahira Kashyap, has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in seven years. She had previously fought the disease in 2018, and now, after a long gap, it has resurfaced. Tahira shared the news with her followers through a heartfelt Instagram post, which has since received an outpouring of support and encouragement from fans. Her brother-in-law, Aparshakti Khurana, also left a special message to boost her morale.
“This is my second round…”
In her Instagram post, Tahira shared a photo and wrote:
“After getting regular check-ups for seven years, the latest scan revealed something unexpected. I want to share one piece of advice: always go for regular mammograms. This is my second round, and I’m still standing strong.”
She added in the caption:
“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. And if life throws them at you again, calmly mix them into your favorite lemon cocktail. Because, honestly, that’s kind of cool—and besides, you’ve done it once, you can do it again.”

Tahira’s brother-in-law, Aparshakti Khurana, commented on the post, saying:
“Bhabhi, we know you’ll get through this too.”
First Diagnosed in 2018
Tahira was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018. At the time, she spoke openly about her journey and used her platform to raise awareness. She even shared the visible signs of breast cancer and posted photos during her treatment, including one where she had shaved her head.
She once mentioned that her parents were upset when she posted her bold look on Instagram and asked her to take the photo down.
Aside from being a cancer survivor, Tahira is also a filmmaker. She has directed the short films Pinni and Toffee, and in 2024, she directed the feature film Sharmaji Ki Beti.
