New Delhi, June 4, 2025 – Samsung has officially teased the launch of its next flagship foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, with a new post titled “Meet the Next Chapter of Ultra.” The device is set to succeed last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and is expected to launch on July 4th, 2025.

The teaser reveals a silhouette of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 folding and unfolding, highlighting its slim and portable design. Samsung promises the new foldable will deliver bigger screens, improved cameras, and innovative Galaxy AI features tailored specifically for the foldable form factor.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to feature:

  • An 8.2-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover display

  • Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset with a clock speed of 4.47 GHz

  • A triple camera setup including a 200MP primary sensor, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide lenses

  • Android 16-based One UI 8

  • 25W wired charging support

  • A slim and lightweight design, possibly the thinnest foldable yet

Samsung emphasizes that despite its advanced hardware and software, the phone will remain easy to carry and use on the go, supporting all-day messaging, browsing, and gaming.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be priced similarly to its predecessor, which started at Rs 1,64,999 in India.
