Vivo has officially announced the launch date of its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 5. The device is scheduled to debut in China on June 25th, succeeding last year’s Vivo X Fold 3 series. Teaser posters shared by the company not only confirm the launch date but also reveal the device’s design, camera setup, and available colour options.
Despite featuring an ultra-slim profile, Vivo highlights that the X Fold 5 has been designed to be durable and sturdy. While an India launch date is yet to be confirmed, the phone was recently spotted on the BIS certification site, indicating that it could arrive in the country soon.

The Vivo X Fold 5 is currently available for pre-reservation on Vivo’s official China website. While the pricing has not been disclosed yet, its predecessor — the Vivo X Fold 3 — launched at CNY 6,999 (approximately ₹83,200).
