Career
Punarnavi always aspired to become a successful psychiatrist right from the initial stages of secondary school. She was fascinated by the human brain and the psychology associated with it. Besides, she changed her mind pretty quickly. During the SSC academic year, she performed the crucial character of Julius Caesar in a drama staged by her school. Therefore, she made up her mind to pursue a livelihood in this particular field in the film industry. Later, she undertook rigorous learning and coaching from famous workshops and places like Nishumbita and Samahaara.
In her teenage days, she received a lucrative offer. Also, she got her first breakthrough at an age around seventeen or eighteen. She continued training relentlessly at Samahaara. Thereafter, she enhanced several acting skills and was aided by her mentor namely Ratnashekhar. The irony is that Ratnashekhar’s name contains a gem, whereas he helped her become as bright as a gem!
