Early Life and Career
Rubika was born to Amar Liyaquat and Fatma Liyaquat in Udaipur on 18th April 1983. Her mother is a scientist by profession and also has a Ph.D. holder in Environmental Sciences. She was raised in Udaipur and did her schooling from St Gregorios Senior Secondary School. She pursued her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai. It was in 2003 when Rubika started her career as a journalist in Udaipur. She joined Channel 24 as an intern for 3 months. After completing graduation, Rubika waited for 2 years to find a good job.
In 2007, she got an opportunity to work with Live India. Rubika worked there for a year. Then, she changed her job and started working with Channel News 24 as a senior correspondent. Rubika then started reporting with Zee News. Her show Taal Thok Ke made her more popular in India. In 2018, she resigned from there and got connected with ABP News Network. She started hosting the popular show Master Stroke. The show is watched by thousands of viewers.
Personal Life
Rubika Liyaquat is married to Naved Qureshi. The couple tied the knot in 2012 at Bora Community hall. They are proud parents of 2 kids. She is fond of animals and believes in humanity. She also owns a pet named Romeo. Rubika’s style of presenting the news is loved by people of all ages. Also, she is the most respectable and trusted journalist in India.
