The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting India in the global fight against terrorism. During a high-level meeting with the Indian delegation, the US Deputy Secretary of State emphasized Washington’s continued strategic partnership with New Delhi.

Speaking on behalf of the Biden administration, the official said, “The United States stands firmly with India against terrorism in all its forms.” The statement comes amid growing security cooperation between the two countries, especially in the Indo-Pacific region.

The discussion focused on intelligence sharing, counterterrorism training, and collaboration against global terror networks operating in South Asia. Indian officials welcomed the assurance, highlighting the urgent need to combat cross-border threats.

This meeting builds on a series of defense and diplomatic engagements that have deepened bilateral ties. Experts say the US-India partnership is evolving into a comprehensive security alliance, with terrorism as a shared concern.

The reaffirmation comes just days after India’s Operation Sindoor and a series of recent anti-terror operations in Jammu & Kashmir, drawing global attention to India’s counterterrorism efforts.
