New Delhi, June 5, 2025 – The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has moved a step closer to launch, as it has now appeared on both the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) certification platforms. These listings confirm several key specifications, including the chipset and model numbers, offering a clearer picture of Samsung’s next-gen foldable flagship.

FCC Listing Confirms Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been listed on the FCC website with the model number SM-F966B, which was also recently seen on BIS and UL Demko certifications—pointing toward an imminent global launch. According to the FCC listing, the device will feature chipset code SM8750, which corresponds to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, likely the overclocked “for Galaxy” version used in the Galaxy S25 series.

Additional model numbers include SM-F966U, SM-F966U1, and SM-F966W, which are expected to represent versions for other markets around the world.

The FCC listing also confirms the following features:

  • Support for 18 5G bands

  • Wireless charging and reverse wireless power sharing

IMDA Certification Hints at Singapore Launch
