Hero MotoCorp launched the updated range of the Hero Splendor Plus in India on April 11. The bike’s engine has been updated to meet the OBD-2B emission norms. However, there have been no changes to the design, hardware, or features. Hero claims the bike now delivers an impressive fuel efficiency of 73 km per liter.

The starting ex-showroom price of the updated Splendor Plus is ₹78,926, which is ₹1,750 higher than its previous price. The top variant, equipped with the Xtec disc brake, is priced at ₹86,051. The company has updated five variants so far, but the non-OBD2B variants are still listed on Hero’s website and will be discontinued soon.

This updated model competes with other popular bikes in the market, such as the Honda Shine 100, Bajaj CT 100, Bajaj Platina, and TVS Radeon.
