Surat: Kendriya Vidyalaya-ONGC, Surat, hosted a lively celebration of Grandparents’ Day. Chief Guest Mrs. Tanuja Balodi from ONGC emphasized the importance of children spending quality time with their grandparents. She encouraged children to communicate lovingly with their elders, as grandparents impart valuable life lessons and wisdom that should be cherished and adopted.
Principal Rajesh Kumar welcomed the guests with saplings and highlighted the significance of elders in the family. He stated that grandparents are the pride of every household and play a vital role in the holistic development of children. Their advice and experience inspire solutions to life’s challenges.
Yoga expert Dinesh Patel shared the importance of subtle yoga activities in daily life.
The event featured vibrant performances by students, including welcome songs, dances, Shiva Tandava performances, and plays. Children also created beautiful posters and greeting cards to honor their grandparents. Exciting games such as catwalks and musical chairs were organized for the grandparents, bringing joy and laughter to the event.
The program was seamlessly conducted by senior primary teacher Mrs. Daksha Gupta, ensuring a memorable day for all attendees.
