Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be hosting the ‘Sparkle International Gems and Jewelry Exhibition – 2024’ on December 20, 21, and 22, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium, Athwa Lines, Surat.
Chamber President Vijay Mevawala mentioned that, like last year, the exhibition will be organized on a B2C basis, showcasing unique designer jewelry crafted by over 30 jewelers from across India. The exhibition will give the world a glimpse of the special features of Surat’s jewelry. He emphasized that the main goal behind organizing the exhibition on a B2C basis is to provide customers with an end-to-end product experience. Sparkle serves as an inspiration to promote and update jewelry brands, and the Chamber aims to take jewelry to the next level through this platform.
In this exhibition, there will be a special collection of wedding jewelry for Non-Resident Indians. Jewelry plays a crucial role in wedding attire, and women spend a significant amount of time researching jewelry styles for weddings. Sparkle will bring together a wide variety of branded bridal wedding collections, making it a one-stop destination for women’s jewelry research.
The Chamber President further stated that, with weddings being in season, this platform will also enable Non-Resident Gujaratis and Non-Resident Indians to purchase jewelry at one location. Additionally, many people are often confused about where to buy wedding jewelry, and are unaware of the current jewelry trends. At Sparkle, visitors will find diverse jewelry collections from across the country, allowing them to choose and purchase their preferred jewelry all in one place.
Last year, over 600 couples and their families were invited to visit Sparkle, and this year, invitations will again be extended to couples preparing for their weddings, offering them a chance to view a wide variety of jewelry collections in one place.
In the exhibition, Surat jewelers will showcase necklaces developed specifically for weddings. These necklaces come in various designs and technical variations. A new range of wedding jewelry has been developed, which combines both classic and fusion styles. The exhibition will also feature necklaces tailored to the specific demands of wedding season.
Additionally, gold heritage jewelry with Polki and fusion bridal jewelry with diamond-emerald-pearl combinations are highly sought after. All of these jewelry collections will be displayed at Sparkle. Polki-heritage jewelry is particularly popular for its long-lasting appeal, and it remains a favored choice for many women. The exhibition will feature a wide range of unique jewelry categories for customers to explore.
