HONOR GT Pro to Feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor

The HONOR GT Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, featuring a 4.32 GHz clock speed. This marks a significant improvement over the standard HONOR GT, which runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a lower 3.3 GHz frequency. Additionally, the GPU is expected to be upgraded from Adreno 750 to Adreno 830, promising enhanced gaming and graphics performance.

Bigger Display with Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner

The smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Unlike its predecessor, which used an optical fingerprint sensor, the GT Pro is expected to include a more secure 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The display is also said to have 2.5D contoured edges, providing a more refined and comfortable viewing experience.

Improved Battery Life with Fast Charging

According to leaks, the HONOR GT Pro is likely to be powered by a 6,000mAh battery, offering a significant upgrade over the 5,300mAh unit in the previous model. The phone is also expected to retain 100W wired fast charging support, ensuring rapid power-ups.

Launch Timeline and India Availability

Tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the HONOR GT Pro could launch in mid-2025, possibly around May. However, there is no confirmation regarding its India launch, as the standard HONOR GT has yet to arrive in the country. More details are expected to emerge as the launch date approaches.
