Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the ambitious Gujarat Global Capability Center (GCC) Policy 2025-30 at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. Spearheaded by the Department of Science and Technology, this initiative aims to position Gujarat as a global hub for high-value jobs, innovation, and digital transformation.
Key Objectives and Benefits

Creation of 50,000 New Jobs and Significant Investments:
The policy targets the establishment of at least 250 GCC units, with projected investments exceeding ₹10,000 crore. -
Financial Support:
- CAPEX assistance of up to ₹200 crore for major units.
- OPEX assistance of up to ₹40 crore to support operational expenses.

Employment Boost:
- Incentives of up to ₹60,000 per new local hire retained for at least a year.
- Employer EPF reimbursement of up to 100% for women employees and 75% for men.
Empowering Local Talent
The policy focuses on skill development, reimbursing up to 75% of course fees for students and 50% for working professionals.
Incentives for Sustainability and Quality
Eligible units can avail up to 80% support for quality certification fees and enjoy refunds on electricity duties.
