Mumbai, February 2, 2025 – Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Guru Charan Singh, who is popularly known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi, is making a strong comeback after facing personal and health struggles. Reports had recently emerged that Singh was dealing with financial issues and had stopped eating for a period of time. However, his health has improved, and he is now actively working on new projects.
In a heartwarming turn of events, the actor shared a video with popular singer Mika Singh, where the two are seen dancing together to the beat of a bhangra tune. The video shows Guru Charan Singh visiting Mika, who greets him with his signature Punjabi swag. As the dhol beats echo in the background, the two dance joyfully, and Singh expresses his excitement. While introducing Mika Singh to his fans, Guru Charan calls him, “King of Kings, Mika Singh.” Mika Singh, in return, says, “Sodhi Saheb, welcome back. Singh is always king. Now it’s your turn. We are all so happy for you.”
Singh had recently faced health issues, and his close friend, Bhakti Soni, revealed that he had stopped eating for some time due to his declining health. In a video shared by Guru Charan, he provided an update from the hospital regarding his doctor’s reports.
Soni also helped Guru Charan secure a ₹13 lakh brand deal, which boosted his confidence and encouraged him to regain his strength. She further shared that a friend assisted in finalizing the deal, ensuring that Singh returned to work promptly.
In a shocking event last year, Guru Charan Singh went missing for 25 days in May 2024. His father filed a missing persons report, and efforts were made by the police to find him. After nearly a month, the actor returned home. Singh later explained that he had disappeared after a flight from Delhi to Mumbai, but ended up missing in transit. In an emotional message, he apologized to his parents, fans, and the media for his actions, expressing regret over the distress caused.
