Ola Electric has unveiled the “Sona” limited edition of its top-tier electric scooter, the S1 Pro. This special edition builds on the existing S1 Pro model, featuring exclusive cosmetic changes, including the use of 24-carat gold-plated elements. The scooter’s mirror handles, brake levers, side stand, pillion footrest, and grab rail are all coated with 24-carat gold.
In terms of mechanical changes, the scooter remains the same as the standard S1 Pro. It offers a full-charge range of up to 195 km as per the IDC cycle. Ola Electric has not yet confirmed the exact number of limited-edition units that will be produced.
Ola’s Festive Campaign: Chance to Win the S1 Pro ‘Sona’ Edition
In celebration of Christmas, Ola Electric has launched a festive campaign running until December 25, where selected participants can win the S1 Pro Gold Limited Edition. To enter, participants need to post a reel with the Ola S1 or take a picture or selfie outside an Ola store and tag it with #OlaSonaContest. On December 25, winners will be selected through a random draw.
Ola S1 Pro ‘Sona’ Edition: Design and Features
The S1 Pro ‘Sona’ Limited Edition comes with a dual-tone design theme featuring Pearl White and Gold colors. It sports a premium seat made of dark beige Nappa leather, embellished with golden thread using zari work. The main body panels are in cream white, while the lower skirt and the front mudguard are painted in a unique maroon color. The telescopic fork, swingarm, rear mono-shock spring, and alloy wheels all feature a golden finish.
Additionally, the scooter is equipped with the MoveOS software, a gold-themed user interface, and a customized MoveOS dashboard.
Ola Expanding its Network: Over 3,200 New Stores Opening
Ola Electric is also making major strides in expanding its retail presence. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently announced that the company will open over 3,200 new stores across India, marking one of the fastest EV distribution rollouts globally. Each store will have a service center for customer support post-purchase.
