Hina Khan’s birthplace is Srinagar which is in the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. She belongs to a middle class orthodox Muslim family and other than her parents, she has a younger brother. His name is Aamir Khan and he owns a travel agency business.

Hina Khan wanted to be a journalist but destiny had other plans and brought her to the television industry. Hina made her TV debut in the year 2009 with the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai which was aired on Star Plus.
For 8 years, she was associated with the show as it was one of the most loved and most watched TV serials. In 2016, she quit the show in order to do something else in life and then she participated in the reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in which she was the first runner up.
Hina Khan also participated in one of the most controversial reality shows of Indian television, i.e., Bigg Boss Season 11 as a celebrity contestant and she was one of the strongest participants of the show. However here also, she missed the trophy and was the first runner up.
In 2018, Hina starred in Ekta Kapoor’s serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay in which she played the character of vamp Komolika Chaubey.
