Despite receiving mixed reviews both by the critics and the audience, the movie has attracted more crowds by being screened during the night hours. Therefore, the movie “Border 2,” starring “Sunny Deol,” has registered 32.1 percent on the opening day by being screened close to 6,000 shows across the country, 1,015 in Mumbai, and 1,524 in the Delhi-NCR area. Therefore, the movie has managed to beat the day 1 collections of the movie “Dhurandhar,” which collected 28 crore on the opening day after being released on December 5.
Moreover, this film has turned out to be the highest opener in the careers of Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh. In fact, this film is the first box office success of Varun Dhawan after bhediya movie released in 2023.
