Gujarat, July 17 – The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has declared the results of the HSC Class 12 General Stream Supplementary Examination. The results were made available on the official website at 9 AM on Thursday.
A total of 33,731 students appeared for the supplementary exam, out of which 17,397 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 51.58%.
Earlier, the board had released the Science stream supplementary results. With both Class 12 streams now declared, the Class 10 supplementary exam result is expected to be announced soon.
What is the Supplementary Exam?
Students who fail in one or two subjects in the main Class 10 or Class 12 board exams are given a chance to appear for supplementary exams. This helps ensure that they don’t lose an entire academic year. Upon passing, students can proceed with higher studies within the same year.
