Surat: SMIMER Hospital’s Voluntary Blood Bank Honours 262 Organizations for Maximum Blood Donation

Surat: The Voluntary Blood Bank of SMIMER Hospital, operated by Surat Municipal Corporation, honored organizations that contributed the most blood donations from 2021 to 2023. Surat Police Commissioner Anupamsingh Gehlot presented certificates of appreciation to the organizations. The top three ranking organizations over the past three years were awarded shields, and blood donors who donated nine or more times were also recognized.

A total of 262 organizations were honored with certificates for their contribution to this blood donation drive, which was organized under the guidance of Blood Bank Head Ankita Shah.

The event was graced by Deputy Mayor Narendra Patil, Councilor Dharmesh Vaniyawala, Leader of the Ruling Party Shashiben Tripathi, Hospital Committee Chairperson Manisha Ahir, SMIMER Dean Dr. Deepak Hovale, Superintendent Dr. Jitendrabhai, and representatives of various organizations, blood donors, and municipal officers.
