Mahindra and Mahindra has introduced the Boss Edition of the Scorpio Classic SUV, featuring several cosmetic changes and new features that will be added through accessories at the dealership level. This limited edition is expected to be available exclusively for the festive season.
Engine Power and Gearbox
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic Boss Edition is equipped with a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 130 BHP at 3,750 RPM and a peak torque output of 300 NM between 1,600-2,800 RPM. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Notably, the Boss Edition does not come with an automatic transmission or a 4×4 drivetrain.
Look and Design
In terms of aesthetics, the Scorpio Classic Boss Edition features a variety of design enhancements, including dark chrome garnishes on the bonnet scoop, front grille, fog lamps, rear reflectors, tail lamps, door handles, side indicators, rear quarter glass, and headlamps. Additionally, carbon fiber covers have been added to the front bumper, rain visor, and ORVMs, while a rear guard with black powder coating enhances its rugged look.
Color Options
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic is available in five color options: Galaxy Grey, Diamond White, Stealth Black, Everest White, and Red Rage.
Interior Features
The SUV now comes with a rear parking camera to assist in maneuvering in tight parking spaces. The upholstery has been upgraded to black, and it includes Mahindra’s comfort kit, which consists of cushions and pillows for added convenience.
Variants and Pricing
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic is offered in two variants: S and S11. Prices start from ₹13.62 lakh and go up to ₹17.42 lakh, with both prices being ex-showroom.
