440 Bags of Fertilizer Worth ₹5.94 Lakh Seized from Ved Enterprise’s Warehouse
Surat: In Mangrol taluka’s Nani Naroli village, Ved Enterprise and A.G. Agro Industries (Boisar, Palghar) were found involved in the illegal production and sale of organic fertilizers without a proper license. Agricultural officers conducted a raid, seizing 440 bags of fertilizers worth ₹5.94 lakh from Ved Enterprise’s warehouse. A complaint has been filed against the owners at Mangrol Police Station, initiating legal proceedings.
According to the information received, a joint squad led by agricultural officers Rakesh Vasava and Laljibhai Italia discovered that the owners of Ved Enterprise, Vijaybhai Vallabhbhai Savani (resident of Mota Varachha, Surat), and A.G. Agro Industries (Boisar, Palghar), were producing and selling an unlicensed organic fertilizer under the brand name “All-in-One Organic Manure” at a facility in Plot No. 201 in Nani Naroli village.
During an inspection on November 28, 440 suspicious bags, each weighing 50 kg, were found at the site. As the owners failed to provide satisfactory explanations regarding the stock, agricultural officer Rakesh Vasava filed a complaint at Mangrol Police Station on November 28. The complaint targets Vijaybhai Savani and the responsible individuals associated with A.G. Agro Industries for illegally producing, storing, and selling organic fertilizers without a license. The police have initiated appropriate legal actions following the complaint.
