Ginni Chatrath is born in an upper-class family in Jalandhar. Her born name is Bhavneet Chatarth, but she is popular as Ginni. Her father is a businessman in Jalandhar and the mother is a homemaker. She also has a sister named Harleen Chatrath. She did her schooling from MGN Public School and pursued her further studies from Guru Nanak Dev University, and DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology. In her initial days, she was fat, but she did workout and transformed herself into a slim personality. She did several stand-up comedy shows and made a TV debut in 2009 from Hans Baliye. The couple first appeared together in this show. It is reported that they fall in love on the sets of Hans Baliye and then started dating.
