Surat, (Gujarat) [India]: The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, witnessed the grand unveiling of the SHIV-NATRAJ (Spatio-Temporal Heterogeneous Integrated Vehicular Naturalistic Aerial Trajectory) dataset. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ashish Dhamaniya, Dr. Rajesh Chauhan developed this dataset using UAVs to capture data in mixed traffic conditions. The SHIV-NATRAJ dataset addresses the need for high-quality, detailed spatio-temporal data in the field of transportation engineering.

This dataset provides extensive information on traffic flow over vehicular roads, especially in the mixed traffic environments typical of developing countries like India. By utilizing UAVs, this data offers valuable insights for traffic safety, autonomous vehicle technology, and urban mobility advancements. Over 150 national and international representatives, including students from IITs, NITs, and leading global universities, attended the event. Students and professors from various universities participated both online and offline. The dataset is available for reference at www.shivratra.com.
