Following the phenomenal success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun has revealed his next film project. For the first time, he will be collaborating with acclaimed director Atlee. Production house Sun Pictures shared a video on social media featuring Allu Arjun and Atlee together, officially confirming the new venture.
Atlee to Direct the Film
The announcement video showcases the journey from Allu Arjun signing the film to visiting VFX studios in Los Angeles. It begins with his visit to a production office in Chennai, where he meets with director Atlee and producer Kalanithi Maran. After discussions, Allu Arjun signs the agreement, sealing the deal for this much-anticipated project.
Collaboration with Hollywood Talent
The video also highlights Allu Arjun and Atlee’s visit to top-tier VFX studios in Los Angeles. They are seen meeting with Jose Fernandez, CEO and art director of Ironhead Studio, and VFX supervisor James Madigan. Both have worked on Hollywood blockbusters like Spider-Man and Captain America.
James Madigan mentioned that after reading the film’s script, he was completely blown away. This has sparked buzz that the film will feature Hollywood-level visual effects, elevating the overall cinematic experience.
Working Title: ‘AA22-A6’
This film marks Allu Arjun’s 22nd project and Atlee’s 6th directorial, hence the working title AA22-A6. Atlee is set to direct, with Kalanithi Maran producing under the Sun Pictures banner.
