Surat, (Gujarat) [India]: Tribal Development, Labour, and Employment Minister Shri Kunvarjibhai Halpati inaugurated the foundation stone of 10 development projects worth ₹22.97 crore in Kanaghat village, Mandvi Taluka. These projects, approved by the Roads and Buildings Department (Panchayat), aim to enhance rural infrastructure and improve the quality of life for local citizens.
The projects include:
- Pipalwada-Karutha Road: ₹7 crore
- Magatra Approach Road: ₹17.50 lakh
- Pipalwan Approach Road: ₹1.40 crore
- Dadakui Upla Faliya Road: ₹52.20 lakh
- Rakhaskhadi to Dungra Faliya Road: ₹1.05 crore
- Jamkui-Picharvan-Dhaj Road: ₹2.45 crore
- Luharwad Faliya to Soli Road: ₹2.41 crore
- Major Bridge at Devgadh-Luharwad: ₹6.50 crore
- Construction of Karutha Gram Panchayat Building: ₹17 lakh
- Slab Drain on Pipalwan Approach Road: ₹1.30 crore
Minister’s Address:
The Tribal Development Minister emphasized that Mandvi Taluka is advancing rapidly in terms of development. He highlighted the government’s commitment to making every village in Mandvi picturesque and ensuring the upliftment of even the smallest segments of society. The state government, he said, is working relentlessly to improve the welfare of both rural and urban citizens by maintaining the momentum of development projects.
He also mentioned that the construction of new roads will enhance transportation facilities for rural residents. Pending projects will be prioritized and completed promptly.
