The 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup is set to begin today, hosted by the United Arab Emirates. This marks the ninth edition of the prestigious tournament, featuring ten teams from various parts of the world.

To celebrate the power and strength of women in cricket, Google has dedicated a special doodle on its homepage. The doodle pays tribute to the participants of this highly anticipated event. The tournament kicks off today with a match between Bangladesh and Scotland at the Sharjah Stadium.

The tournament format will see the ten teams divided into two groups, with each group consisting of five teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, followed by the semifinals.
