Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Day: The film, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has delivered an impressive start at the box office, earning ₹16.50 crore on Day 1.  The romantic drama launched on November 28, and it was the word-of-mouth mainly and the decent occupancy in the most important Indian cities that caused a good result. Early estimates of the film, opening day collection, by Sacnilk reflected not only the strong audience interest but also the positive critical reception. The film had a total of 25.77% occupancy on its first day. Morning shows had a moderate start with 15.29% occupancy, which slowly improved through the afternoon (21.67%) and evening (24.55%). Night shows had the biggest turnout of 41.56%, which shows that the audience became more interested day by day. Metro and Tier-1 cities significantly contributed to the film’s strong box office pull as it was very much in the theater. Claiming to be a spiritual successor to Raanjhanaa (2013), Tere Ishk Mein takes place in the city of Banaras, which is known for its intense and emotionally charged atmosphere. Dhanush is in the role of Shankar and Kriti Sanon is in the role of Mukti, both of whom are caught in a conflict and emotionally complicated love story. The plot dives into the sea of passion, obsession, heartbreak, and the effects of unfulfilled love. Fragility and imperfection of the relationship between Shankar and Mukti is depicted as the core of the film. Their tie—intense yet troubled—takes a dismal turn when Mukti weds another. The choice made by her crushes Shankar and throws him into an abyss, which is a mix of rage, heartbreak, and fascination. The film lays bare the issues of cheating, emotional pain, and the razor-thin divide between love and toxicity, thus creating a tragic and multi-layered romance. Tere Ishk Mein with its solid start is a clear indication of a successful weekend, particularly if the already existing positive word-of-mouth continues to grow.
