Childhood & Personal Life
Shivani’s parents are Hindu by religion and Mangesh Surve is the name of her father while her mother is named as Manali Surve. There is a little confusion as far as the family details of Shivani are concerned as some reports say that she has two sisters – Sameeksha and Tanu while several other reports suggest that she has a sister Sameeksha and a brother whose name is not known.
Shivani completed her schooling from Sadhana Vidyalaya, Sion, Mumbai, and afterwards pursue her graduation from Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Mumbai, through correspondence.
Shivani Surve was very much inclined towards acting since her childhood days and actively participated in plays and dance performances in her school.
She acted in a Bhojpuri movie “Ganga Mili Sagar Se” when she was just 7 years of age and also performed in a Marathi drama, Mangalayacha Lena and later on became a part of a theatre group known as Karma Kala Manch.
Career
It was 2011 when Shivani made her Hindi TV debut with Navya… Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. After that, she was seen in serial Phulwa in which she played the character of Champa.
Next year in 2012, Shivani Surve made her debut in Marathi TV industry as well with Devyani in which she played the lead role, this serial was a game changer for Shivani as it made her a household name in Maharashtra. After that she was seen in some other serials as well – Anamika, Sundar Maza Ghar, Tu Jivala Guntavave, etc.
She came back to Hindi TV industry in the year 2016 with Jaana Na Dil Se Door in which she played the character of Vividha. She has also appeared in a romantic horror show Ek Deewana Tha and horror serial Laal Ishq. In the year 2019, she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss Marathi 2.
Relationships
Presently Shivani is unmarried; however during her stay in the house of Bigg Boss, she told another inmate that she is engaged and will be getting married to her fiancé who is from Shahupuri, Maharashtra.
There are also reports of Shivani being in a relationship with Marathi actor Ajinkya Nanaware and her name was also associated with her co-star Vikram Singh Chauhan but Shivani and Vikram both denied any such rumour.
