PM Modi Israel Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct essential meetings and honor the national Holocaust memorial during his last day in Israel. The Prime Minister will start his day by going to Yad Vashem which serves as Israel’s official memorial for Holocaust victims. The visit will serve as a serious moment because it demonstrates how India honors historical events while sharing democratic traditions with Israel.
The Prime Minister will hold a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog after visiting the memorial to examine how both countries can develop their relationship and work together in different areas. His next step will be to conduct talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the delegation level. The two parties plan to exchange Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) which will help develop their relationship through programs that support technological and commercial and military and innovative research cooperation.
PM Modi will later meet with important leaders from the Indian-Jewish community who reside in Israel to acknowledge their contribution toward strengthening connections between the two countries.
PM Modi delivered a speech at the Knesset on his first day of the visit where he denounced the October 7 Hamas attack as a “barbaric terrorist attack.” The Prime Minister declared his support for Israel by stating that India will support Israel during its difficult times.
The Prime Minister expressed his endorsement of the Gaza Peace Initiative while declaring that all forms of terrorism pose a danger to worldwide peace. The visit marks another advancement for India and Israel to enhance their strategic partnership.
