Kunvarjibhai Halpati Inaugurates Development Projects Worth ₹5.18 Crore in Jamankuva Village, Mandvi Taluka

The government is committed to empowering the underprivileged and enabling them to achieve economic self-reliance: Kunvarjibhai Halpati, State Minister for Tribal Development

Surat, (Gujarat) [India]: State Minister for Tribal Development, Labour, and Employment, Kunvarjibhai Halpati, inaugurated development projects worth ₹5.18 crore in Jamankuva village of Mandvi Taluka, Surat district. These projects include ₹4.22 crore sanctioned under the Mandvi Tribal Sub-Plan for New Gujarat Pattern and D-SAG schemes, along with ₹95.89 lakh from the NPCIL Kakrapar CSR fund.

During the event, the minister emphasized the relentless efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in making India a developed nation. He highlighted the government’s commitment to empowering the underprivileged, enabling them to achieve economic independence and self-sufficiency. The minister urged everyone to unite at the village, taluka, district, and state levels to contribute towards the nation’s development.

He further stated that the Tribal Development Department has allocated over ₹5 crore for various initiatives, including the installation of pipelines, collective motors, and solar panels in villages such as Jamankuva, Suli, Kevdi, and Pipariya. These measures aim to address irrigation challenges, improve farming practices, and boost farmers’ income.

The minister also mentioned that since Narendra Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, a vision was set to double farmers’ income. To realize this vision, the state government launched various schemes that trained thousands of farmers in Gujarat. Through this training, significant changes were brought to farming methods, adopting modern agricultural techniques, which enhanced productivity and crop yield.

The event was attended by Mandvi Taluka Panchayat President Dilipbhai Chaudhary, District Panchayat members Rohitbhai Patel and Anilbhai Chaudhary, Executive Engineer of the Irrigation Department V.R. Patel, Mamlatdar Shri Mistry, Taluka Development Officer Ravindrabhai Solanki, along with other officials and villagers.
