Amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, and the worsening situation in West Asia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened an urgent meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Friday. The meeting was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. They held detailed discussions on the emerging crisis in the region.
During the meeting, the committee extensively discussed the potential Iranian attack on Israel and expressed deep concern over the current developments in West Asia. The impact on the supply of fuel and other essential goods was also evaluated. India has called on all involved parties to resolve the issues through diplomacy and dialogue promptly.
