Facility Available at New Civil Hospital for Issuing Fitness Certificates to Hajj Pilgrims

Surat, (Gujarat) [India]: As in previous years, special arrangements have been made at Surat’s New Civil Hospital to issue fitness certificates to pilgrims going on Hajj. A comprehensive setup has been provided at a single location for conducting various necessary tests and check-ups. These tests include CBC (Complete Blood Count), RBS (Random Blood Sugar), blood pressure, and ECG.

The fitness certificate camp for Hajj pilgrims will run from October 14 to 19. On the first day, 223 pilgrims were issued fitness certificates. A total of 1,600 pilgrims from Surat district have registered for the Hajj pilgrimage, and to ensure timely completion of all certificates, the hospital has ramped up operations with the assistance of doctors from the old Civil Hospital and the medical college staff.

Dr. Ketan Nayak, R.M.O. of Civil Hospital, stated, “We have arranged for all required tests to be completed under one roof so that Hajj pilgrims can easily obtain their fitness certificates. The check-ups and certificate issuance process will be completed by October 19.”

Iqbal Kadiwala of the Nursing Council commented, “The Civil administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure all medical tests can be conducted at one place. With the full cooperation of doctors and staff, reports and check-ups are being carried out swiftly.”

The Hajj Committee has also made special arrangements for the camp. Under the supervision of Dr. Laxman Tehlani, I/c R.M.O. of Civil Hospital, Nursing Association’s Ashwinbhai Pandya, and Hajj Committee members Akrambhai Shah, Zaheer Hakim, S.R. Khan, and Javedbhai Kadiwala, an efficient and smooth process is being maintained for the pilgrims. Special care is being taken by the administration to expedite the certificate process so that pilgrims do not face delays.
