Anu Kumari accomplished her primary, secondary and high schooling from the ver famous Shiva Shiksha Sadan. It is located in the town of Sonepat. As a child, she always wanted to make her parents proud. Often, she would cry whenever she failed to top in exams. Moreover, she always had a keen interest in academics and wanted to achieve something big one day. Besides, all her teachers praised her for her extremely sharp mind and memory. Afterwards, she accomplished a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Physics. Also, she pursued a B.Sc. Honours Degree in it from the reputed Hindu College. Since childhood days, Anu always wanted to become successful. After accomplishing the MBA Degree, she worked at the famous Aviva Life Insurance company for more than a staggering nine years! However, in the year 2016, a major u-turn came in her life. It was the time when she decided to go gung-ho for the UPSC exams. She sacrificed her job for the preparations. She studied with wholehearted dedication. Also, she devoted around 10 to 12 hours a day! Unfortunately, she could not clear the primary exam in the 1st attempt. She missed the mark by a mere mark!
Also, she sacrificed her family life for more than four years. She sent her son to a relative’s place when the exams neared. She did not get bogged down and continued her hard work. In the next attempt, she passed it with flying colours. She secured the 2nd rank! Even, the honourable CM of Haryana congratulated her! Later, she took part as a chief speaker and ambassador for a social campaign. It is called Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. She ensured that the word reached every house in her hometown and the district.
