The 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 range has been launched in India, with a starting price of ₹19.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This flagship adventure motorcycle from the manufacturer brings several significant upgrades. The current generation of the Triumph Tiger 1200 was launched in India in 2022, and the latest updates have finally arrived in the Indian market, featuring a new engine, improved ride comfort, better ergonomics, and more electronic aids.
2025 Triumph Tiger 1200: Enhanced Refinement
The new Triumph Tiger 1200 is equipped with a 1160cc three-cylinder T-plane engine that generates 150 bhp of power and 130 Nm of torque. The bike offers better refinement and low-end tractability. Triumph has updated the crankshaft, alternator rotor, and balance to enhance engine inertia. The engine has been recalibrated to help mute vibrations from the motor. Improvements have been made in low-end torque delivery, resulting in a smoother acceleration and deceleration experience. The updated clutch design also allows riders to engage gears more comfortably.
2025 Triumph Tiger 1200: Improved Comfort
The updated Tiger 1200 GT Pro and Rally Pro feature damped handlebars and risers from the Explorer variant, improving visibility from the mirrors. The seat has also been updated for better riding comfort, with a flatter profile that offers more space and reduces fatigue on long journeys. An accessory low seat is available, lowering the seat height by 20 mm from the standard 830 mm on the GT Pro and 855 mm on the Rally Pro. The longer clutch lever provides more space for riders’ fingers, enhancing comfort during long rides.
Triumph has also elevated the footpeg positions on the Tiger 1200 GT Pro and GT Explorer to increase cornering ground clearance and bring them closer to the bike. A new active preload reduction feature reduces rear suspension preload, lowering the seat height by 20 mm at the click of a button when the bike is stationary.
Features of the 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200
The updated Tiger 1200 range includes premium features such as a semi-active suspension setup from Showa and Brembo Stylema brakes with monobloc calipers. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS, cornering traction control with IMU, six riding modes, a keyless ignition system, shift assist, adaptive cornering lights, a 7-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth, and much more.
