Surat: As part of the ‘Diabetes-Free Gujarat’ initiative by the Gujarat State Yoga Board, a 15-day yoga camp was held in Pandesara for individuals suffering from diabetes. Commencing on November 14, the camp aimed to help diabetic patients achieve better health through yoga, natural remedies, and a healthy lifestyle.
The camp included daily sessions from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, led by expert yoga instructors. Participants engaged in yoga postures, pranayama, and meditation tailored to their medical needs after thorough health evaluations. Alongside yoga practice, attendees were guided on necessary lifestyle changes and healthy dietary habits.

Inspired by the positive outcomes, participants resolved to incorporate yoga into their daily routines, taking a step towards a healthier lifestyle.
The camp served as a crucial milestone in the mission for a diabetes-free Gujarat, promoting awareness about yoga and natural treatments. Motivated by the results, participants urged the Yoga Board to organize more such camps.
The closing ceremony was graced by dignitaries including Dr. Palak Trivedi, Corporator Dr. Balwantbhai Patel, SMC Health Coordinator Dr. Parul Patel, social worker Valjibhai, SMC Health Officer Dr. Kinjal Patel, Dr. Krishna, and Vinodbhai.
