Surat: The Election Commission of India has announced a special summary revision program for the photo electoral roll with reference to the eligibility date of January 1, 2025. As part of this initiative, claims and objections can be submitted until November 28, 2024. Additionally, a special drive will be conducted on November 23 and 24, 2024, at designated polling stations.

During these two days, voters can visit their nearest polling stations to:

  • Add their names to the electoral roll.
  • Delete names of ineligible voters.
  • Correct details such as name, photo, or other particulars.
  • Apply for changes in the polling station within the same assembly constituency.

The Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be present at the polling stations to accept applications in the prescribed formats. Alternatively, voters can also submit their applications online via voterportal.eci.gov.in, voter.eci.gov.in, or the Voter Helpline Mobile App.

The Additional District Election Officer of Surat has urged all eligible voters to participate in this drive to ensure their details are updated in the voter list.
