According to industry reports, the smartphones are expected to make their India debut by the end of November or in the first week of December. The company made the official announcement through its verified X (formerly Twitter) handle, posting a teaser video with the caption “Coming Soon.” The teaser gives a glimpse of the camera system, highlighting its 100x zoom capability, suggesting that Vivo aims to strengthen its position in the high-end photography smartphone segment.

Price and Availability

In China, the Vivo X300 Series was launched at a starting price of CNY 4,399 (approximately ₹54,700). For the Indian market, sources suggest the starting price could be around ₹59,999. The lineup will likely come in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The new models are expected to succeed the Vivo X200 Series, offering improved performance, design, and camera capabilities.

Display and Design

The Vivo X300 will feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED display, while the Vivo X300 Pro will come with a larger 6.78-inch FHD+ 1.5K OLED panel. Both models will support a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and an immersive viewing experience. The phones are expected to sport a sleek glass design with a premium finish and minimal bezels.

Processor and Software

Both smartphones will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The devices will run on Android 16 with Vivo’s custom OriginOS interface, ensuring optimized performance and user experience.

Camera Setup

Vivo continues its tradition of photography excellence with the X300 Series. The smartphones will feature a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and 50MP telephoto lens. The front camera will offer a 50MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The devices will also include Vivo’s proprietary V3+ image processing chip, designed to enhance color accuracy, sharpness, and low-light performance.

Battery and Charging

The Vivo X300 Pro will pack a powerful 6510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support. Meanwhile, the standard Vivo X300 model will feature a 6040mAh battery, offering excellent battery life for daily use.

Competition and Market Impact

Vivo’s latest flagship smartphones are expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone 16 series, Samsung Galaxy S25, and Google Pixel 9 series in India’s premium smartphone market. The X300 Series, with its advanced camera technology and high-end hardware, could attract photography enthusiasts and performance-driven users alike.
