During the festive season, Toyota has introduced the Urban Cruiser Taisor Limited Edition. This is the Japanese manufacturer’s second limited edition after the Hyryder. The limited edition Taisor comes with a complimentary accessory package worth ₹20,160, aimed at enhancing the design and style of this special edition.
What’s Special About the Limited Edition Taisor?
The Toyota Genuine Accessories (TGA) package is available for the turbo petrol variant and is valid until October 31, 2024. This offer is not applicable to the naturally aspirated models.
With the complimentary package offered in the limited edition, customers have the option to customize the coupe SUV to their preferences. Key features include front and rear under spoilers in Granite Grey and Red colors, door sill guards, chrome inserts for the headlamps and front grille, extra side body cladding, door visors, all-weather mats, and a welcome door lamp.
Turbo Petrol Engine in the Limited Edition
The limited edition Taisor is powered by a 1-liter, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that generates 99 BHP and 148 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
On the other hand, the standard Taisor comes with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 89 BHP and 113 Nm of torque, available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
Price and Competition
The price of the Urban Cruiser Taisor Limited Edition remains unchanged, ranging from ₹10.55 lakh to ₹13.03 lakh (ex-showroom). Toyota’s compact SUV competes with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Tata Nexon, Mahindra 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq.
