Surat, (Gujarat) [India]: As part of the “Diabetes-Free Gujarat” initiative, the Gujarat State Yoga Board organized a three-day yoga camp from November 14 to 16 in Pandesara, Surat.
The State Government has established the Gujarat State Yoga Board to promote health through yoga. Under this initiative, diabetic patients were examined and guided by expert doctors to practice yoga and natural therapies aimed at managing and overcoming diabetes. The camp witnessed the participation of a large number of yoga enthusiasts. Patients were trained in yoga under the supervision of skilled yoga instructors.
The Gujarat State Yoga Board aims to ensure the physical, mental, and spiritual development of individuals through yoga. The event also saw active participation from the health department team, yoga board coaches, trainers, and practitioners who contributed to the success of the camp.
