Samsung has launched the Galaxy A16 5G smartphone as the successor to last year’s A15 5G. The company has introduced this phone in the European market as part of its mid-range category. It features a large 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display with a notch. Let’s explore its key features.

6 Years of OS Updates

One of the standout features of this phone is the extended OS updates. Samsung has promised 6 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates, making it the first mid-range phone to offer such long-term support. The Galaxy A16 5G runs on One UI 6 and Android 14.

50MP Primary Camera and 16MP Selfie Camera

The phone comes equipped with a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, while maintaining the 13MP front camera from the previous model. It also features a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support, though the charger is sold separately.
