Chinese company Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone, the Redmi 14C, in India and other global markets. The smartphone features a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the Redmi 14C is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. The Indian variant of this smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and runs on Xiaomi’s Hyper OS, based on Android 14.
Redmi 14C: Storage Variants and Price Options
The Redmi 14C has been launched in three colors: Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple, and Starsej Black, and three storage variants. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at ₹9,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Xiaomi’s website, as well as e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, starting from January 10.

- Display: The smartphone features a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers a maximum brightness of 600 nits, with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels.
- Camera: For photography, the Redmi 14C is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup. The front-facing camera for selfies and video recording is 8MP.
- Processor: The Indian variant of the Redmi 14C is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and runs on Xiaomi’s Hyper OS, based on Android 14. In markets outside India, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor.
- Storage: The Redmi 14C comes in three storage variants: 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB with a micro-SD card.
- Battery and Charging: The smartphone features a 5160mAh battery with 18W charging support. The company is also offering a 33W charger with the device for fast charging.
