Seva Teerth, New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the name of a new government office complex named Seva Teerth in the national capital, New Delhi. Later in the day, he will dedicate Seva Teerth, Kartavya Bhavan-1, and Kartavya Bhavan-2 to the nation and address a public gathering.
The new complexes are a part of the government’s vision to establish a modern, efficient, and citizen-centric administrative system.
Seva Teerth will now house the Prime Minister’s Office, National Security Council Secretariat, and Cabinet Secretariat. These offices were earlier located in different places in Delhi. Now, they will be housed in one modern complex with modern facilities.
Kartavya Bhavan-1 and 2 will house important ministries like the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. These ministries will now function from one complex, which will help in better coordination and faster decision-making.
Both the complexes have digitally integrated offices, organized public service areas, and common reception points. These have been incorporated to enhance governance, efficiency, and accessibility of services to the citizens.
The complexes also include advanced safety and security systems. Smart access control, surveillance networks and modern emergency response systems have been installed to ensure a secure environment for officials and visitors.
The inauguration highlights the government’s focus on strengthening infrastructure and improving the way public services are delivered.
