The application process for the PM Internship Scheme, aimed at preparing the country’s youth for jobs, has officially started. Scheme Duration
The PM Internship Scheme launched by the Central Government will have a duration of one year. During this time, selected candidates will be trained by companies in various aspects of work, preparing them for future employment.
PM Internship Scheme 2024: Stipend
- Candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000.
- Out of this, ₹4,500 will be provided by the Central Government and ₹500 by the company’s CSR fund.
Eligibility for PM Internship Scheme 2024
- Candidates aged between 21 and 24 are eligible to apply.
- Applicants should not be involved in full-time education or jobs.
- Students pursuing online or distance education are eligible for the internship program.

- Internship portal launch: 3rd October 2024
- Candidate application start date: 12th October 2024
- Last date for candidate applications: 25th October 2024
Ineligible Candidates
- Graduates from prestigious institutions like IITs and IIMs or those with qualifications like MBBS, CA, or CMA are not eligible to apply.
- If a family member holds a government job, other members of the same family will also be ineligible for this scheme.

Candidates can apply by visiting the official portal: pminintership.mca.gov.in. The application window will be open from 12th October to 25th October 2024. Candidates must upload their academic qualifications and other required documents during the application process.
