On the occasion of Vikas Saptah, the District Education Officer’s Office in Surat organized essay writing, speech competitions, and a collective development pledge ceremony across various schools in the district.

7.89 lakh students from 1,112 schools in the district participated in various activities

Surat, (Gujarat) [India]: As part of the celebration of 23 successful years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in public life, Vikas Saptah is being observed across the entire state, including Surat district, until October 15. In line with this, the District Education Officer’s Office, Surat, organized essay writing, speech competitions, and a collective development pledge ceremony in 1,112 schools of the district.

A total of 8,576 students from 343 schools participated in the essay writing competition, and 1,752 students from 219 schools took part in the speech competition. Additionally, 7.89 lakh students from 1,112 schools across the district took the collective pledge for India’s development.
