Oakley and Meta have launched new smart glasses in India called the Oakley Meta Vanguard. These glasses are made for people who are serious about sports, fitness, and outdoor training. Unlike regular smart glasses, they are designed especially for running, cycling, workouts, and high-action sports.

The Oakley Meta Vanguard is a result of a partnership between Oakley, known for performance eyewear, and Meta, which provides AI and smart technology. The goal is to help athletes stay connected without stopping to use a phone or smartwatch.

Price and Availability
The smart glasses start at Rs 52,300 in India. They are available at leading optical stores like Sunglass Hut and LensCrafters. Oakley is offering four frame and lens options, with black and white frames and PRIZM lenses.

Key Features
The glasses have a 12MP built-in camera that can record videos up to 3K resolution, including slow-motion and time-lapse. Users can record their workouts hands-free.
They come with open-ear speakers for music and calls, allowing users to hear surroundings clearly. The five-microphone system reduces wind noise during calls.

Battery life is up to 9 hours, with the charging case adding 36 more hours. A quick charge gives 50% battery in about 20 minutes.

The glasses support Meta AI, fitness app connections, Hindi voice commands, and even offer Deepika Padukone’s voice as an AI assistant. They are IP67 water and dust resistant, making them suitable for tough outdoor conditions.
