Samsung has officially launched the special edition of its new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. Currently, the special edition is available in limited markets. This new phone is lighter and thinner compared to its predecessor. In South Korea, the starting price for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is KRW 2,789,600, which is approximately ₹1,70,000. The phone is available in a single variant of 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, presented in a striking Black Shadow color. There is currently no information regarding the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition in the Indian market.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition
The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition include several enhancements that make it superior to its earlier model. It features an 8-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch external display, which are larger than those on the previous model. To recall, the standard model has a 6.3-inch external and a 7.60-inch internal display.
This special edition model also boasts improved ergonomics. According to Samsung, it is 1.5mm thinner and 3 grams lighter than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6, measuring 10.6mm in thickness and weighing a total of 236 grams.
In terms of camera upgrades, Samsung has increased the main wide-angle shooter to 200 megapixels, while the other lenses remain the same.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, complemented by 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. It also supports Galaxy AI, which is a set of artificial intelligence (AI) features designed for smartphones and other devices by the company.
