Surat: The Gujarat government is making continuous efforts to promote natural farming practices across the state. Recently, the Central Cabinet approved the National Mission on Natural Farming to further these efforts.

In Surat district’s Umarpada taluka, a natural farming training program was organized in Satvana village, based on a cluster model of five Gram Panchayats. During the event, agricultural department officials guided farmers on how to reduce farming costs through cow-based agriculture.

Farmers were educated on preparing and using natural solutions like Jivamrut, Dhanjivamrut, Agniastra, and Brahmastra at home to control pests and enhance crop productivity. Practical demonstrations and useful guidance were provided on spraying these solutions on crops to maintain ecological balance and improve yields.
