Motorola has officially launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G57 Power 5G, in India. The device arrives as the world’s first phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, making it a significant entry in the competitive budget 5G segment. The major highlights include a massive 7000mAh battery, a 50MP Sony LYTI 600+ AI camera, and a large 6.72-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Moto G57 Power 5G is being offered in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant at an effective launch price of ₹12,999 after discounts. Its actual price is ₹14,999, but with bank offers and promotional deals, customers can get it at a lower introductory rate. The smartphone will go on sale starting December 3 across Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and retail stores in India. Motorola has introduced the G57 Power 5G in three colour options inspired by Pantone shades—Regatta, Fluidity, and Corsair. The brand has currently unveiled only one storage model, but it has confirmed that a 256GB variant may be launched soon. While the phone skips features like NFC and an official IP rating, it still positions itself well for basic and mid-range users looking for reliable performance, long battery life, and 5G support. Talking about the display, the Moto G57 Power 5G comes with a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD screen that offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness reaches 1050 nits, ensuring better outdoor visibility even under harsh sunlight. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and the Smart Water Touch 2.0 feature allows users to operate the device even with wet fingers—making it a practical option for varied usage conditions. The phone measures 166.23 x 76.50 x 8.60mm and weighs 210.6g. The higher weight is mainly due to its massive 7000mAh battery, which is one of the biggest strengths of this device. Despite the weight, the overall design remains clean and functional, featuring a plastic body that is typical in the mid-range segment. In the camera department, the Moto G57 Power 5G features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, capable of recording up to 2K videos at 60fps. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens offering a 119.5-degree field of view. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera handles video calls and portraits. Motorola has also added several AI-powered features such as Shot Optimization, Auto Smile Capture, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Reimagine Auto Frame, Portrait Blur, Portrait Light, Sky replacement, Color Pop, and Cinematic Photos. These features enhance everyday photography and make the phone suitable for social media-centric users. Performance-wise, the Moto G57 Power 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset built on a 4nm process. It includes four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. This setup combined with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM ensures smooth multitasking and reliable day-to-day performance. Storage is expandable via a microSD card. For connectivity, the phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a USB-C port. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner provides quick security access. The Moto G57 Power 5G delivers outstanding battery performance thanks to its giant 7000mAh battery paired with 33W fast charging. According to Motorola, users can expect up to 2–3 days of battery life on a single charge, especially with moderate usage patterns. This makes the device ideal for travellers, students, and users who require long-lasting battery backup without frequent charging.
