Tomorrow marks the final day of Mahakumbh (also known as Mahashivratri), concluding a 44-day festival that began on January 13. On Tuesday morning, the festival saw massive crowds, though numbers began to taper off in the afternoon. Throughout the event, approximately 64.33 crore devotees have taken the sacred dip, with 9.721 million devotees bathing by 4:00 PM today.

In a star-studded moment, Isha Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, took a dip at the Sangam, and actress Ravina Tandon, along with her daughter Rasha, also immersed themselves in the ritual.

To manage the large crowds and ensure safety during the Mahashivratri celebrations, officials have revised the traffic plan. Starting at 4:00 PM today, all vehicles except administrative ones are banned from entering the festival grounds. Additionally, vehicles arriving in Prayagraj on Tuesday morning are being directed to park 10 kilometers before the Sangam.

Authorities have urged devotees to bathe at a nearby ghat and then return home. For enhanced security and crowd management, the Air Force has been deployed to maintain surveillance throughout the Mahakumbh area.
