Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently announced these milestones, underscoring India’s increasing dominance in railway manufacturing and infrastructure development.
During a parliamentary session, Vaishnaw highlighted that Indian-made railway equipment is now in high demand internationally due to its superior quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with global standards. These exports are part of the Make in India initiative, which aims to boost domestic manufacturing and strengthen India’s position in international markets.
